# AI Traffic Monitor

AI Traffic Monitor shows **how real users arrive on your website after interacting with AI-generated answers** on platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

As AI systems increasingly replace traditional search journeys, users often discover brands through AI answers before ever visiting a website. However, most analytics tools either misclassify this traffic or fail to surface it altogether. AI Traffic Monitor in Limy makes this traffic visible by identifying sessions that originate from AI platforms and isolating them as a distinct acquisition channel.

With AI Traffic Monitor, marketing teams can move beyond visibility metrics and understand how AI-driven discovery translates into actual website visits and engagement.

### How to set up the AI Traffic Monitor

Before you set up the AI Traffic Monitor, please ensure that:

* You have access to Google Tag Manager
* You can publish changes to your live GTM container

No engineering changes to your website code are required beyond GTM access.

### Set up instructions:

#### **You First need to copy the Limy tracking pixel:**
