Brand Kit

This article will show you how to create a BrandKit in your account.

The BrandKit defines how Limy understands and represents your brand.

AI systems do not just reference facts - they interpret tone, positioning, and messaging patterns from the content they ingest. Similarly, Limy uses the Brand Kit to ensure that all recommendations, content suggestions, and guidance align with how your brand should sound, what it should emphasize, and what it should avoid.

The BrandKit allows you to encode brand strategy directly into the platform, so AI visibility improvements do not come at the cost of brand consistency.

The BrandKit allows you to:

  • Define your brand’s essence and positioning

  • Specify tone of voice and messaging principles

  • Set clear dos and don’ts for brand communication

  • Add custom rules and constraints

  • Ensure recommendations align with brand strategy

By configuring the BrandKit, you give Limy the context it needs to generate relevant, on-brand, and usable recommendations, rather than generic suggestions.

Select Brand Kit

Define the following regarding your brand:

  • Brand essence:

    • Describe your brand’s core positioning and value proposition. Include key differentiators and how you want AI systems to understand your brand. This information helps Limy contextualize your brand within AI-generated answers.

  • Elevator pitch:

    • Write a short (1-2) sentence high impact description of your brand; what you do, who you are.

  • Tone of voice:

    • Define how your brand should sound (e.g. authoritative, friendly, technical, conversational). Clarify whether tone should vary by channel or remain consistent. Tone settings guide content and recommendation phrasing across Limy.

  • Messaging pillars:

    • Add your core messaging themes or pillars. Highlight topics that should be emphasized in AI-generated contexts. Messaging pillars help Limy reinforce consistent narratives across recommendations.

  • Add do’s & don’ts:

    • Specify language, claims, or positioning to avoid. Define mandatory inclusions or exclusions. This prevents recommendations from conflicting with legal, brand, or positioning constraints.

  • Taglines:

    • Add the primary and secondary slogans for your brand.

  • Social Media Guidelines:

    • Define your brand’s tone, style, and rules for how content should be written and formatted on social platforms.

  • Copywriting Examples:

    • Provide sample headlines, descriptions, and CTAs to show how you want your brand messaging to sound.

  • Case Studies:

    • Share real examples of how your brand appears across channels to give context on structure, tone, and messaging.

  • Pre-written Paragraphs:

    • Add approved, reusable brand paragraphs that can be used or adapted in generated content.
